A little patience paid off, and I got a nice little 'burst model, no digsby (per my earlier stated preference). Came nicely set-up, very low action. Still learning about the Goldtones - my main amp at the moment is a black face vibrochamp. They seem to make a nice pair. Got it for 3 and change. Oh, and after playing a 9 lb Les Paul for the past few years, the M75 seems anorexic by comparison.
So...this'll have to do until I scrape together the scratch for a vintage Aristocrat. (and who knows - some soapbar P90's may be in this little axe's future).

Welcome! My M72 gets more playing time than any other humbucker guitar I have. The Goldtones are nice pickups--don't rush to the P90s.

Frank, I'll confess if I make the PUP change it'll be a vanity move - I just like the /look/ of those soapbar P90's on these sunburst Guild/DeArmonds. So far I'm totally happy with the sound of the Goldtones - I was thinking they'd be somewhat "tinny", but plugged
into my 67 Vibrochamp they sound plenty warm.
In general I'm just really blown away by the build quality of these Korean guitars...

Professor, exactly! Doesn't the M75T/77T come with the single coil 2k pups?
The guitar is really like new. It looks like someone bought it, and for whatever reason, just tucked it away and never got it out to play.
