Can someone tell me which string guage comes with the G6120? They feel like 10's to me.

I'm pretty sure mine came with 11's. I think they were Nickle Wounds with a non-wound G.

Thanks. I find the bending a little stiff on that guitar so I may go with 9's and adjust the neck.

I also think Grestches ship with 11s. I think they are set up for them.

I know when I put 11's on my second hand gretsches their tunability was more solid.

Maybe I'll try 10's first just in case. The first string is particularly stiff when bending at the upper register. Action is nice and low. Guitars plays great. Also very beautiful.

Mine is an '09. It really needed some fresh strings when I pulled it out of the box. I checked mine with a digital caliper and they were 10s. I put a fresh set of 10s on and It's ok with them, but these guitars really need some heavier strings to sound right and for the Bigsby to stabilize.

I use an 0.0105 set on mine. That feels pretty solid, but I can still do most of the bending licks that I do on my (lighter-strung but longer-scale) Tele.

My electromatic supposedly arrived with .10's. They feel more like .9's. I can't see putting anything lighter on due to the Bigsby. And what came on it are supposed to be D'Adarrio's but are not the same color balls. Odd.

Mine came with 11s, but I went with 12s.
