Here it is with interior completed. It was a long drawn out process, carpeting odd sizes and position of cells, leather, slots to hold large or loose pieces, but there it is.

Just needs paint on the exterior now and it's a done deal.

hi-hat case ... interior complete

Here is what I did for drum stick holding power.

This strap set-up will contain about six to ten pairs of sticks.

I removed the throne seat in this PIC so the stick holder is more visible ;)

Latest addition to the kit.

I've been watching these for a while. Not sure of how effective they are, but this one looks pretty nice and I figured it was worth a try.

Here's a video of one of my buddies.

He showed up one day (last January) So I showed him the new Music Room and he noticed the drums ... he is a drummer.

He tuned each drum using his method and adjusted the kit to his liking and sat down.

I guess this means the kit is pretty much done.

I was scrolling around the forums here and came back across this thread.

Since the last PIC I have added some cymbals and cow bell.

It's filled in a bit since the last report.

Cymbal selection as of now is:

Zildjian A 15" Hi Hats New Beat
Zildjian A 23" *Sweet Ride*
Zildjian A 20" Crash Ride
Zildjian A 18" Medium Thin Crash.
Zildjian A 16" Medium Thin Crash.
Zildjian A 12" Splash

I have contemplated adding a China cymbal to the right rear area. Have not got serious about it yet though. Maybe find a spot for a wood block, possibly a mounted tambourine hoop … who knows ;)

No China yet, but I did purchase a wood block.

Not quite sure where or how to mount it but I suppose I'll figure it out ;)

PIC above of how the kit is situated.

I've been watching eBay for stuff I do not need.

In the back of my mind I have always thought it would be cool to have an 6" and an 8" tom to go with this kit.

When I redid the bass drum about a year and a half ago … I had to re-worked it because I had mounted to toms a tad too far toward the front of the drum. It sort of required me to re-wrap the drum.

At the time Jammin' Sam's told me they had about enough of the Golden Boa wrap left to do a snare drum. I had no other drum at the time so I let it go even though he said he would give me a deal if I used the last of his stock on this order.

I have been looking at 6" & 8" toms on eBay and after years of curiosity I stumbled onto this an auction with the two drums in really good shape and also including the exact stand which matches my stands! And for just $225.00 and a Make Offer option.

So … I called Jammin' Sam's to see if he might actually have enough Golden Boa wrap to cover these TWO small toms. If not then trying to purchase them was a mute point.

He had enough wrap!

I went back to the listing and offered the guy $200.00. The offer sat there and expired, but I discovered an email. The email was the seller stating, "Hey I was going to accept your offer of $200.00 and it expired before I could do it. Will you post another offer and I'll accept it".

A have to admit I needed to tell/ask/beg Queenie to be sure she would not leave me for buying two drums that I DO NOT NEED.

As you all know this is sometimes a just a sickness. :(

She voted no, by agree that I was sick enough that she would be willing to see me do it anyway.

I put in the offer … and he just now accepted it!

Like I needed more drums
