I have a spare 4x10" cabinet powered by a Dual Showman Reverb (TFL500D)
This is a 80's cab with original Blue Label Fender speakers.
The cabinet that came with the DSR, are 2x15" JBL's metal cone.
I was thinking of a 79 FR to add some fills.
We play blues, cajun, zydeco, swamp-pop, country....cajun dance music.
What rig would you go with...I no longer have interest playing my guitar using this big amp....can play bass with it, just not enough boom.
So that where I think a FR would shine using this rig.
Thoughts?

Seems the better years were those couple right after 72.
Implementing 88 keys, and a mix of plastic, wood, and wood-core hammer tips.
This seems to be the right direction....
Thanks.......

the Rhodes has limited sounds and is heavy ...it is also mechanical and prone to maintenance issues ... you could get the same sounds and many more with less hassle from a digital keyboard ...
