The local Craigslist had an ad for a Hammond organ and speaker box. I called last night and the guy didn't know what he had. I pretty much told him I would take it when he told me the speaker box was about waist high. Well, when I got there, I found an pretty beat up C2 and a Leslie model 25. The Leslie was missing the 12" speaker but no big deal. Got it all for $100. The C2 is dirty and dusty. Sadly, there was no food pedal. I may have one in my storage! It's still in the back of my pickup. I'll fool with it tomorrow. Even though I am not a keyboard player, I like to fool with stuff like this. I think the Leslie will work well for a guitar.

I put a new ele. cord on the C2 and plugged it in. No sparks and it came on just fine. I had put a few drops of oil in the little oil places and it runs smooth. Too bad about no foot pedal board. I'm already converting the little Leslie mod. 25 to a guitar cabinet. Some took the amp from it also. I'll put a 2 speed motor in for the rotor.
