I'd like to get one of these pups. Not really interested in pitch correction. But doubling, reverb, and compression are the important ones to me.

TC Helicon looks nice. Digitech just came out with a new line, too. But I read good and bad about each of them. Anyone here use any unit? What do you like and dislike?

Trying to stay under $500, well under if I can, but I recognize you get what you pay for.

I have TC Helicon, I use it for doubling and controlling reverb on my vocal - I find a little bit goes a long if you know what I mean - vocals can sound too digital or synthesized - but if you learn how to dial it in and use in moderation it's definitely an asset, worth the dough.

wow... thats some pedal! I am curious if you can use them in banks so you can foot pedal thru the effects or if you have to actually bend over to knob switch them. Otherwise you can get great harmonies for a set but nothing else without having to bend over to deal with changing them.
