I'm "Branded"-- my stars are ripped away

Mick at RPM decided to have a pre-RPM challenge. You picked two numbers for each word (page and line?) and he looked up the entry in his dictionary. I chose only one set and I got "HELIUM". Here's is what I came up with.

It's a little experimental, so beware! I just couldn't figure out a good percussion part right away, so I decided to move on. I would like to add percussion to it, though. Maybe I'll try again tonight.

Helium
(c) Emmrich 2010

Kevin: Guitars, Bass, Vocals
BIAB: Nutten' Honey

(chorus)
I'm gonna float float float
just like helium
I'm gonna float float float
just like helium

(verse)
I guess you've skipped town
but my spirit you can't dampen
like gravity trying to drag me down
but I ain't gonna let that happen

(chorus again)

(bridge)
I was sitting here one day
when I caught your gaze
the sight of you turned me around
and knocked me down

I thought I could float float float
just like helium
I thought I could float float float
just like helium

(verse)
Well I'm siting here in motel squalor
and the landlord's hollering for that rent
you know I think I've descended into hell
but I got some stuff that's heaven sent

(chorus again)

Ha, ha.

I breathed in the helium
to combat the tedium
and hurried to the podium
'cause my time is at a premium.

Did you use rhymezone.com ?

At any rate, it works.

I use that, but my favorite one seems to be: http://perfectrhyme.com/ . It organizes by type of rhyme versus by syllables. It also seem to point more off rhymes that can be used instead. Since it gives more choices (it seems), you have a better chance of not letting the rhyme drive the story.
