I'm "Branded"-- my stars are ripped away

Here is the lyric I wrote for the "Snow Bored" BT that Clay and Mike put together in the Home Recording section. If I could sing I would post the song here now but it needs a couple (hundred) more takes.

EDIT: Added soundclick link

Snowy Day
(c) Bennett, Emmrich, Harper 2010

Hmmm,mmm, mmmm
hmmmm, hmmmm
When the snow falls
and the bough breaks
you never know what
it will take to make
it through another
day yea, yea hmmmm,
yea, yea hmmmm

when I see you
but you don't see me
i never know what to do
i'm slipping in my summer shoes

can't you see I'm falling
the drifts are covering me
and the blood in my veins
is starting to freeze

it's a snowy day, yea, yea
it's a snowy day,' yea, yea
it's a snowy day in hell
and I don't know how you can tell
if you're crazy or on the wrong end
of a tale that should not be told again
hmmmm, hmmm, hmmmm, hmmm

it's a snowy day, yea, yea, yea
it's a snowy day, yea, yea, yea

(instrumental)

Can't you see I'm falling
and there is nothing you can do to stop me
but if you really cared you would be there right beside me on this ....

... snowy day ...yea, yea, yea yea, mmmmmm......
it's a snowy day yea, yea, yea, yea hmmm, mmmmmm
Hmmm, mmm

Snowy Day

Well, it looks good on paper (or rather a monitor) and looking forward to hearing it, Kevin.

I'm trying to figure what lyrics go with the D to E parts. I think it's "day yea, yea hmmmm,
yea, yea hmmmm" ?

I like how you take the time to write down every "hmmm" and "yea"....

I like the "snowy day in hell" idea. I wonder if you could go further with that. You know, like how something will happen when "hell freezes over." How about you finally get the girl, or something else that seems impossible.
