Hey guys. I'm thinking of bringing that guitar out of retirement and play it on some songs with the band.
In your opinion is it a crazy thing to do?
And if I do I'll be looking for a soundhole pick up.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

I say yes. These things roar. No thoughts on a soundhole pickup. You may have some feedback challenges. I put a piezo saddle pup on mine, but have to put a soundhole plug to control feedback with a loud band setting.

A friend of mine has a K&K Sound Pure Western Mini in his Bourgeois Sean Watkins.
He refused to change a thing about that guitar for years. But he really loves it.

They glue onto the bridgeplate and are removeable.

the Pure Western Standard is recommended for 12

I have a Fishman Rare Earth in my f-212 and it does a good job.
