Gibson ES-style, in black. But I've tried a switch tip sold as Gibon/domestic (way too big), and one described as import sized (still a bit too big).

Any ideas on where to find the correct switch tip? Or can you tell me the thread size?

Thanks Jake. I ended up wrapping the post a few times with Teflon plumbers tape, which allowed the import-sized tip to sorta screw on. I could pull it off easily but at least it won't fall off now.

Place a drop of Elmer's glue into the knob and use a toothpick to work the glue into it. You need only one drop; don't fill the entire tip with glue or there'll be no room the the threaded portion of the switch bat.

Remove the teflon tape from the switch bat and slide the tip onto the threads. Wipe off any squeeze-out, and let it sit overnight to cure. You can unscrew it later if needed.
