Maybe he should have been playing something less pristine than that guitar to coincide with the song. Maybe...
But that performance would be a nice link for Guild to have on their site. A great demonstration of what you can do with a nice dread.

My D-40 I found in a pawn shop in Cambridge MA. It's a 1964. Had it since 1975. Here's the spooki(er) part. The case got a bit tired after some years, so I replaced it. The one I got had a little plaque on it. "Edgewater Days - 1983" In the year 2000, I bought a house in Edgewater CO. That summer we headlined at Edgewater Days. Now the case has 2 plaques.
