santfe U.S.	Jul 7th, 2009 03:12 PM   Edit   Profile   Print Topic   Search Topic Nice guitar, but woefully misinformed. These are fully hollow, of course, not semi-hollow (didn't he ever look inside?). And I know of no 6120 pickups that sound anything like the DeArmond 2ks on the T-400.

Shouldn't have sold it -- but whatyagonnado!?

Oh well. Mine should be arriving next week. The old Dearmond website pictures the T-400 with a natural finish and black 2000's, but I have never seen a T-400 with either. I've only seen one T-400 that was red...all the rest have been orange, all with white p'ups.

The later ones had black bobbins and regular pickguard. Here's an orange one with black pups. One of the very last batch that came into the country, I was told. The Magnatron is strong and clear- it does not want to break up. A very full, distinct sound, with a hint of growl. Clearer than a P90, but with more heft than a tele bridge pu. I'm not in a hurry, but I may try one in my T400
