New from dealer in Dayton.
After having LACE GOLDS put in (oh my)-- I am enamored!
(also wood blocked trem).
Love the neck.
Sounds fantastic!!!
Quality is AAAA+.
They happened to have it in the back of the store--got in a few wks earlier.
When I asked if I could put on my gauge of strings on the sunburst display one I was playing (strings on it were dead)-- salesman brought this one out.
BTW: It is the lt. white color.
(Matches my designer thong collection)

(when I told the fellow who sold me it about putting in Lace pups--later the owner's son wanted to buy the pups from my EJ.
I told him $150.00. He recoiled and retorted, "Well then I'd have to sell them for $300 -- I wouldn't get that.")
He must have wanted me to give them to him for $50.00!!!

This is a really great product. I got one last year and it's become the most played of my Strats. I've always loved maple boards and the '56-57 "V" neck profile, my first Strat having been a real '57. The big plus is the 12" radius and larger frets. I've always had to do the latter on my Strats with the smaller wire. The pickups are ok, think I'd like something a bit less thin in the bridge. Otherwise, Fender done real good on this one!

I bought my second EJ Strat (an early 2006 in pristine condition) two weeks ago and I LOVE it!
I may change the bridge pup to a Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot though...
