Picked one up recently, spent a couple of hours last night taking it apart and reassembling it. Did a complete setup, new strings, etc.

Right now it plays like a dream and is resonant as hell. Perfect intonation. Put on a set of Fender bullets (.010s). Y'all gotta hear the Seymour Duncans in this thing. Every switch position is markedly different. Was doing some jazzy stuff with the neck pickup mostly and the clean tone is among the best I've heard.

These are made in Korea, from what I've read the bodies may be cut elsewhere and the Cort name has been mentioned. No matter. They are beautiful, the one I have is a natural finish with black guard. The tuners work very well and simply put, it is one of the finest strats I've ever played.

The neck is a soft V with birdseye maple and abalone dot inserts. MOST attractive.

Picked it up very slightly used for $375, some plastic still on it, no scratches or dings at all.

Can't believe my luck, this is the strat I've wanted, never would have thought it would be as good as it is. Have had American Strats and Highway Ones but this strat ranks right up there with them. Actually, better.

Y'all gotta take a look at these!
It's light too!

+1. I have a natural finish one also, and love the V-neck. I was surprised by the sustain/resonance. Guess that heavy tremelo block must contribute. Lotsa quack on it too.

Ain't very 'lite' tho! (at least mine isn't...)

My daughter spotted this guitar just arrived used at GC and, not from any knowledge or experience, pounced on it. I checked it out in the store and was impressed, it was definitely way better than any other strat in there in that price range. Didn't have any problem buying it for her. She still plays it.

Nothing like resurrecting a two year old thread!

Gorgeous guitar! I never really bonded with mine so I loaned it to a buddy along with a Champ 600. Not like I had to thro in the amp to loan it.

Maybe I would warm up to it with a set of Abby Masterwinds or Rumplestiltskin masterwind copies.
