I just got one of these pedals last week. What volume are you guys running this thing at? Unity volume levels seem to be around 9 oclock, is this what you guys have seen? I've seen where some of you run the vol at 12 o clock, and with my CB that would be very loud if I run my DRRi any higher that 2or3 on the volume. What works best for most? How does this pedal stack with other OD"s. Anyone else stack? I've got a few nice pedals, but haven't experimented yet. Thanks for info and advice on a great pedal.

OK, anyway, thanks for nuttin guys and gals. But I will say that this pedal works very well with my Barber Burn Unit EQ, if anyone is interested in that particular combination. Next up will be the ZD, and the OCD.

Bikedude, there should be a lot of info that you need in the first twenty posts of this thread, aside from that, you just gotta tweak it to your individual taste, etc..

yea, silverface68, i got that. My concern with the CB was the huge amt. of vol. produced by it. I've found that by using the 2nd. input of my DRRI, and keeping the amp vol. around 4or5, I can get some very nice saturated lead tones out of this thing, with a nice amt. of sustain. It's a great little pedal for sure, and i'm glad I took the plunge. It works very well with the BUEQ, as I now have clean, little dirty, more dirt, and great lead tone with all on. Thanks.

Leftee came for dinner last night and brought his Crunch Box for me to check out. While it didn't provide a significant difference in tone from my amp, it was a worthy pedal. It is indeed a Marshall in a box and it compresses nicely with pinch harmonics.

I would definitely own one if I had a single channel amp, or my old HDRx with the weak gain channels.

My amps do this really well. I decided to convert the CB into cash for other GAS. :-P

Not taking anything away from the CB. Still a great pedal!

Do I have to be wearing my secret decoder ring or FDP beanie to be able to see it? Cause I STILL can't see it.
