Usually when I go for judicious, I end up with copious ... but I'll try some restraint!

Ran into Baloo at 5th Avenue Billiards catching the Keister show. It's been a busy summer, I'll start looking around for a good door prize or prizes.
Fender Jam!! Great way to end the summer...
Where's RacStrat and Bopper and Pamster?

"Where's RacStrat and Bopper and Pamster?"
Good question! Actually, they're around, still playing with Baloo & I (well, not so much Pamster, but we'll coax her into joining us eventually...), and will be at Corktown this Saturday. For reasons that'll be explained then, you might not hear from RAC until Sat.
I'm fired up - now to decide what gear to bring, and what tunes to play!

Well, it's been a very, very, very, very hectic week at Camp Nasir. Not sure at this point whether I'll have any new songs, and new songbooks, any new tricks, or great ideas ... all I know for sure is that I WILL BE THERE and I'll have a bass with me, and (at least) some means of recording the event.
(And probably some kind of geetar, with one of them amplificater things.)
Jeff: do you need me to bring any drum hardware? Should I pack a bass pedal and hi-hats with stand just in case? Anything else?

Take me off the list... I'm doing a volunteer stint in Ypsi tomorrow, then helping my brother with a pre-divorce move out of his belongings (a continuing saga).
Rock the Corktown!

That seems close enough. Set up is at 1:00 and we have to clear out at about 7:30 for the night entertainment. I posted on the FDP jam calendar from 2:30 til 7:30.

Yikes, I forgot my son is having oral surgery tomorrow morning. I won't be able to make it except possibly towards the end.
Robert, if you don't want to haul that bass amp, I could probably drop it off around 1 and then make it at least at the end to pick it up.
Any other bass players coming?
Maybe one with an amp?

Baloo - re: drum parts ... will do.
Mickey - re: can't make it ... bummer! Oh well, do what you've got to do - we'll miss you.
Pete - re: can make it ... cool!
Al - re: can't make it ... bummer II. I'll bring the big amp (unless someone else chimes in before I head out tomorrow). Hope your son's procedure goes smoothly - and of course it'd be great if you can make it for the tail end of things.

Sorry for the late post busy times. So the door prizes for todays Jam will be Yamaha Electronic Drum kit (great for small jam spaces) and a Fender Gig Bag.
