OK, We have the Corktown Tavern set for Saturday April 8th from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. I need some responses here to go for it, because they want to update thier Web-Site and put it in thier print ads.

They have a second floor room with a stage, lights, nice PA, sound man, bar, and bathrooms. I have never done one of these before, so anyone who wants to make suggestions or help out, please jump on the new thread or Email me....

All right Beauj Mont. They have a good PA and an OK drum kit. Should I line up a base player and/or drummer or is there some from the FDP that will come?

Where is it located? Map quest it and put up a link. As of now, I'll be there in the evening.

Go back and look at the previous thread for tips. You may want to limit the number of amps that show up.

Telecast, Corktown Tavern is "Right" next door to the old Tiger Stadium on Michigan Avenue.

You get off I-75 at Rosa Parks Blvd exit, the old stadium is right there big as day. Just take Rosa Parks to Michigan Ave, Turn Left and it is right there next to the stadium. Nice parking all around the bar...

John, Excellent!

Should be no need to hire a bass player or drummer who don't really want to be there. On the other hand, if they want to be there, then they're one of us anyway - no need to "line 'em up" special.

Unless you mean, like, professional players. Can't lay claim there. But I'll do my best.

I'll be there, hopefully...

I'm going to check with my Drummer who came to the jam, 2 jams ago (Travis), and hopefully he'll want to be there as well

Robert, great check that off the list.

My drummer buddy will probably come just for fun, but a bass player was gonna be a little harder.

TeleCast - Rumor has it that you are a pretty good MC? Do you think you could?

Kasba, cool....

John, cool. Someone warned me that maybe too many amps would show up. But I think we will have room at this venue.

I also sent an Email to Reverend, inviting them to come and show off gear or whatever.
