I am in the process of selling my home. My main computer with Photoshop and USB Port for my Camera is already packed. I am using my Laptop at this time. Will post pic's as soon as I get moved. I am working on a SG Jr. that is going to be killer! It was black now it's Olympic white, black pick guard and old Dogear P-90 cover, Gold Badass Bridge, Gold Tuners etc. I just put a DiMarzio DLX Plus in it and the old Dog Ear covers it. Can't wait.

Brewnote did you do the pup swap or did you have somebody do it? I am just wondering how hard it was to fish the controls in and out. Did you have to go through the F holes? I have not taken the pups out of mine to see whats under them. It was easy for me to do this on a 62 Guild T-100 I have as the pup is a P-90 and there's a hole under it, also their are no braces. I may want to go the PAF route later. Let us know how hard it was.

panachagems:
Doing a pup replacement on a semi hollow is a little more difficult than working on a solid body; so, I had it professionally done.
The other problem I saw was that the old pups had 2 leads, and the PAFs have one lead with brtaiding wrapped around it...so I didn't quite ubnderstand how to wire that.
When it was done, even the tech said that it was tedious work putting it in...so I was glad I didn't attempt it myself.

Thanks BrewNote, yeah I have worked on a lot of Guitars I was just wondering about the bracing in the Dot's. The PAF's are the same as the ones you took out, two leads. The wire that is braided the PAF's is the ground wire and it surrounds the hot wire.

A friend of mine picked up a Dot Deluxe, burst with gold hardware today at GC. Got it for $370 including tax out the door. He called me just before he bought it to ask what I thought about them. Was just down there a couple of days ago, it looked like they had just received a shipment since several were on display. I was thinking how attractive they were. Told him to go for it, how can you lose? Going over to his house this week to try it out. Man those things are good looking!

how would the Epi Dot Club (EDC) like a website like the one I run for the Toronado Folk ?

It could be a place to collect pics of owners Dots plus info etc...

free of charge ...all I need are some pics and some write ups.

That would be cool.

I'd like to get a few more Dot owners pop in, I know you're out there.
