beetlebz,
The flames are SANDBLASTED on, hence the expense. Joe has a local artist do it I believe.
And in person, a "Hot Rod Flame" Rocco is SWEET.

I have Reverend speakers in one of my 2x12 cabinets.
They sound great so far. They have about 8 hours playing time on them so far.

MDuncan, isn't yours the one with the special pickguard and side-jack? If so, would you share some pics when you get a chance? I'd like to see that!

On my Rocco, I can get a VERY Tele tone with the back pup on single mode. It snaps and pops!!.
I am a Tele player, but was lured by the Rocco (nos) at a store, after being somewhat disappointed with my Tele-copy-G@L, with too bright sound, 7 1/4 radius and it was heavy.
Mine is bug- eye, which I don't really care for.
But Sound, Construction and Playability were paramount. It could have had Roseanne's picture on it and I still would have bought it!!
Modded it with 2 Tele saddles on strings 1-4, and made them top loading, and kept E and A as reg. saddle/string thru.
Going for snap and easier bending!!

CAL WEBWAY,
could you tell me how the Rocco sounds on the NECK PUP with the coil tapped to single. Does it sound similar to a Strat's neck PUP? Thank-You

Long live the Congregation!!!
Brandon:
I have a Hitman which has a neck humbucker, split it sounds like a Tele to me.
Cal:
About what you were saying about "sound, construction, playability" I think it's alittle different with a Reverend guitar because they are very, very consistent in all those areas you mention. There are no duds,I've yet to see one anyway,so it's cool you don't have to limit yourself as much when it comes to colors,of course,if you got a great "leftover" deal like I did(I got a color I liked, thankfully),I can totally understand, but I probably wouldn't have bought it if I didn't like the color,I would locate one with a color I liked on the Internet, your pretty safe buying a Rev without playing it first,Actually I bought my second Reverend from Ajay sight unseen and it worked out great. It's soooo nice not having "buyers remorse".I could own 10 Reverends and I bet I wouldn't want to part with any,I don't really feel the same about any other guitars,One killer Tele and a boatload of Reverends with different pickup configurations would be just fine by me....

Okay guys! I think I've gotten some of my guitar pictures uploaded. I'm not having much luck with navigating Earthlink. In the process of loading the pictures, the system crashed and I had to reload my compactflash reader. I'll put more pictures up if this works.

Nice guitar Mike!! Why did you want a side-mounted jack anyways?? I kind of like the top mounted jack,I've yet to pull out my cord by accident and that's without wrapping the cord through the strap,it's not neccessary to even do that...
Ajay: Have a GREAT DAY!!! I'm sure you will.................

Ajay,
It's tough for kids to handle complex concepts like: I got to pick the color, how come it isn't mine? Hope you find tone Nirvana with you new SC through the HH tonight.

LarryC: I traded even, my ASAT for the Rocco with the cool hdshell case.
Was sick of the ASAT, didn't want to hassle selling on my own, and didn't want to lose via consignment. Hey, I'm happy!
BRANDON: yea, I think the front pup in single sounds close to a Strat's.

At some point, that could be a dangerous inspiration if Ajay's son starts liking the Slingshot more than Ajay!
